A Short and complete History about our Institute!

Gulzar Memorial College of Education came in to existence in the month March, 2004 .It is situated on very beautiful, science and academically serene lawns, which are lush green comprising of an attractive campus spread over 12 kanals of land, located at Nowpora Kallan sopore. The college is harl 2 kilometers a way from the main town Sopore, where all public utilities and social amenities and comforts for decent living are reaily available .The College is temporarily affiliated with university of Kashmir and recognized by Govt.Of Jammu & Kashmir. The College is also recognized by the U.G.C, New Delhi under sec.12 B (1956).

Message from Chairman
I am extremely grateful to almighty Allah for having enabled me to translate my revered brother’s dream into practical reality. Late Gulzar Ahmad Wani was superficially a businessman, but in-worldly a philosopher dreamer, visionary who was always keen on envisioning such projects and plans as would ultimately lead to socio-educational advance of the society.
